What’s Great about today: The Possibility of Hope

What’s great is awareness; awareness of what I’m feeling today and the knowledge of hope. Hope gives me the possibility of being able to create new experiences.

Today, I miss my family as it was, and I don’t pretend not to. My son is in the military, my parents have passed, and my beloved pup-pup has crossed the rainbow bridge. My girls are out of the nest more than they are in it.

I allow the feeling of missing the way things used to be as I await excitedly and hopeful for what God is intending. Maybe because it’s Mother’s Day soon, I am feeling this way. I don’t know, but it does not matter.

Today, I acknowledge all of you – my fellow sisters who have loved and lost, going through transition or experiencing disappointment as you hold onto hope for an exciting new future. I raise a glass to new celebrations, new experiences, new joys, and new creations.

That’s what’s great about today – the possibility of hope.

Together we can hold hands as we are grateful for now and excited for the future!

What are you grateful for today?

Much Love,

Ann
