Feeling Your Feelings: How to Get to the Other Side of Trying Times

When you begin to acknowledge your feelings, you allow them to move through you more quickly to the other side. You accept your feelings, you accept yourself, you can then move forward to recreate your feelings into inspired action, transforming yourself, and your life.

You begin to discover your personal truth.

Learn how to recreate your feelings into inspired action for yourself, your life, and for the benefit of those around you.

Be honest with how you feel; don’t make your feelings right or wrong. Just be honest with yourself. Honor the gift of your feelings and ask those feelings questions.

  • How much of this is fact and how much of this is fiction?
  • ____________________________________________________________________________________
  • If this is a true circumstantial issue, what strategy or (better yet) strategies can I create to solve or improve this situation?
  • ____________________________________________________________________________________
  • What do I want to feel; what is the opposite of what I am feeling and how can I create that?
  • ____________________________________________________________________________________

Once you jot down these questions, you will begin to see the benefits.

  1. You will remove all the worry, angst, and fear from your physical body and your mind.
  2. You will begin to uncover self-awareness, asking yourself important questions – what is the problem and what inferences about myself or others am I making?
  3. How am I adding more angst and meaning to the actual problem?
  4. You will begin to notice patterns in your life which you will be able to resolve at the root.
  5. What strategies can I and will I employ to solve this situation?
  6. If A happens, then I will do B.
  7. By when will I take on the challenge of facing this issue head on?
  8. How can I take on being courageous?
  9. How can I take on feeling secure, faithful, and peaceful while in the midst of this?
  10. What else can I choose to focus on during this trying time?
  11. You will be able to make these questions a habit in which you can now move through much more quickly with power and grace
  12. Problem solving and emotional intelligence are now a life-long skill
